Q：Your Japanese is very fluent. Which phrase do you like most?

Q：Among the ones that you have watched recently, which Japnese dramas or films do you like most?
A：’Kisarazu Cat’s Eye’, Although I don’t like bad youths, I like dramas about them. (Laugh) .Junichi Okada is nice so is Sakurai Sho but the best is UCHI（the nickname of Junichi Okada）!」

Q：What do you recommend about ‘Beautiful Hangover’?
A：It has a very easy-to-follow melody and you can sing it very relaxingly and happily. The climax of the song is ‘君は(pronounced as: Kimiwa) MY BEAUTIFUL HANGOVER~’, this part is the main point of the song. The lyrics depicts a man who has fallen for a girl, then his head was painful like getting a hangover since her stuff is troubling him all day long. In fact, I have not had such a romantic story yet… because I am young.(laugh)

Q：What do you think is the most beautiful thing to you?
A：Fans! When I was in our concert, at the very moment on the stage, I saw the light flashing from the VIP crown torches—in an instant the scene extended from my view, this is the most beautiful scene I have ever seen.

Q：What actions of a girl will attract you？
A：I love to see girls tie their pony tails and love to see their face like that,I think the ears of girls are cute so I really do believe that it is charming for them to tie up their hair and show the ears. By the way, I also have a lot of confidence with my earlobes!(Laugh) The soft earlobes are my charming point! (Laugh)

Q：What is the biggest risk in your life?
A：TOP hyun has once invited me to go out for a drink,’let’s drink’ but since it was already late and I was also busy with my solo work, I was so tired. Therefore, I rejected him, ‘It is not convenient today’. TOP hyun then pulled a long face to me, I felt very risky at that time(Laugh). But after I said,’sorry, I must go with you next time,’ I was forgiven.(Laugh)Since the night view of TOP hyun’s room is very beautiful, I decided that I must go there and drink with him next time.

Q：Whom will you discuss your problems with？
A：I will not tell anybody. In the past, when I encountered something bad, I told somebody frankly and reminded him ‘please do not tell others’but later all people around knew that. I was deeply hurt in that incident. After that, I have never discussed my troubles with anybody. Other reasons are I don’t want to burden my parents and I don’t want to show my weak sides to my fellow members. I seldom discuss these things with others. But now I am 20 already, I can now solve the problems myself. If I encounter something sad or things that make me angry now, my mindset can be adjusted in 15 minutes and I can then pick up my own rhythm.

Q. What do you want to do in this autumn?
A：I want to see the reddened leaves. If it is autumn, won’t the color of the mountain be changed to red? Although I have heard that it is a very beautiful view, I have not seen that once. Ever since I was small, I have been receiving music training. If I got a chance, I would like to watch the reddish leaves with a Japanese girl!

“I always buy a lot of clothes when I come to Japan”

Q: What was your childhood dream?
GD: Singer. I dreamt of becoming a singer ever since I was a kid. I wrote lyrics for the first time when I was a student in elementary school. It was to express my feelings and I wanted to convey my thoughts to everyone.

Q: GD is always fashionable. What is the most important point when choosing your clothes?
GD: The shape is the most important point. I choose clothes that fit my body well. Before, I just like unique clothes that no one would wear. However, my taste is changing a little lately. Now, I like simple clothes or black stuff rather than something colorful. I buy a lot of clothes in Japan because there are lots of fashionable stores here. I think I go shopping more in Japan than in Korea.

Q: Your new single in Japan is “Beautiful Hangover” and GD wrote parts of the lyrics. What were your thoughts in this song?
GD: I have never made something with a theme like this before. The title of this song is “Beautiful Hangover”. “Love” and “Hangover” are two different things. When I wrote the lyrics, I was thinking of comparing love to something crazy that a person with a hangover would do. It was not a personal experience. I just imagined the situation of going crazy about someone. When I fall in love, I may be like the person in this song.

Q: What is the most “Beautiful” thing for you?
GD: Sunset. I like it when the sun just sets and it looks red. Jeongdongjin in Korea is famous for its beautiful landscape of the sea where you can watch the beautiful sunset.

Q: How do you create your great songs?
GD: Sometimes, I create the melody with the lyrics already. But sometimes, I listen to a track that someone made first and it sparks my imagination. Then, I create the melody and the lyrics after. The melody and lyrics of “Somebody to Love” in the new album were made at the same time. I usually come up with lyrics around midnight just before falling asleep.

Q: What is the most unforgettable song of BIGBANG?
GD: “Lies” which was released in 2007 in Korea. Our name became popular because of this song. In addition, many happenings and funny events happened during the time we were promoting it. Because of these reasons, this song is the most unforgettable. I also like the MV because it was like a drama.

Q What do you really want to try this autumn?
GD: I want to try bungee jumping. (Laughs) You can do bungee jumping in Bundang in Korea but I have never tried it so I want to try. I want to jump to my heart’s content and drive all my stresses away. (Laughs) I’m not scared of standing somewhere high. The height you have to jump (for the bungee jumping) in Korea is about 40 meters. It doesn’t really matter to me. Maybe, I can even jump from somewhere higher…but 100 meters is probably impossible! (Laughs)
