The members of Big Bang have been swept up in a rather unusual controversy due to the long delay in their album release and their continued hiatus. Rumors began circulating about how the relationship between the members was turning sour, bringing back the old stereotype that idol groups can never last past five years.
A representative of YG Entertainment clarified, “It’s difficult for us to give a clear comeback date since all of the members are personally contributing to the album production. They put more priority on having standards met to their satisfactions as opposed to releasing something quickly. It seems that such a controversy came about due to the delays in their comeback, but the members have become closer than ever by working on this album together.”
Another representative that spoke with Osen revealed, “I actually asked the members themselves and they thought it was weird, answering, ‘It’s hard to even be as close as we are.’
They’re boys, so they play and joke around a bit harder than usual. When I told them about the rumors going around, they actually responded, “At least they don’t think we’re delaying our comeback because of our music skills. It’s better that they create rumors like that instead.‘”
The representative continued, “The members always laugh and maintain an energetic atmosphere whenever they’re together and are closer than they’ve ever been, actually.”
lol are people this impatient? I like the way the boys think though, at least people aren’t doubting their abilities or skills.

Well this is just silly, they are brothers and even if they disband I think they would still be as close as brothers. Not to mention they have been on hiatus for a number of reasons, solo projects, tv, movies etc.. but they also were working the Japanese market for the last 2 years as well. They are making a comeback for the Korean market only, since they have been releasing singles regularly in Japan for the last year. Talk about jumping to wrong conclusions.

they’re all perfectionists so i can imagine jiyong never ever release something before he’s 100% pleased with, also taeyang who is never quite satisfied with his own singing skills (as if he has something to worry about but that boy is much too humble) and then we have tabi who recorded his part in se7ens “digital bounce” like a hundred times ’cause he thought it was never good enough and our two youngsters? i bet they’re no different. can’t you imagine them perfectly in that record room with teddy discussing about the music arrangements over and over again and if the’re coming to an dead end – just start goofing around and teasing each other? i guess a good laugh took some time ;D
i know how we all feel and i’m longing for that album myself + news from the boys,really, i do-i do and i could quite say i’m desperate but let’s be patient a littlebit longer and i bet we will be more than satisfied with the result.

I can see why fans start to worry. After all, in kpop idol norms where the groups must always churning out new songs like factory to stay on top, the boys’ absence is unusually long. Added with news of break-up of group as big as DBSK, one would think anything could happen to anyone, even Bigbang.
The repeated delay by YG doesn’t help either as it fuels more speculation. The only way to quench the rumor is of course to have the boys come back properly.
On the other hand, look at this positively. People started this kind of rumor because they still have great interest for the boys. If they don’t care, they wouldn’t even ask why there’s delay. So, I hope Bigbang do come back this year or at least, no more broken promise by YG.

BIGBANG is unlike any idols out there. they make their own songs and not just wait for “hit songs” to be handed to them. this is what separates them from the others. at the end of the day,quality still prevails. VIPs,let’s not put added pressure to the boys..dont believe these negative speculations as i’m sure it’s being generated coz they’re threatened of the boys’ comeback. have faith in our boys!
BIG BANG is not an idol group!!! they are a family!!! and they have exceeded what you call an “idol”.
they are for one REAL MUSICAINS. they produce their own songs. they care about quality!! no mere idol wud care about that. they’d rather rush their album. What is it with some people? Spreading false rumor like that? Are they really that blind and deaf not to able to see / read / hear the truth. Big bang has been busy with lots of their international activities (Japan, Singapore, etc), fly back & forth from Korea to these countries AS A GROUP (you can just think that they basically living at the airport) and in all those activities you can easily tell that their interactions & relationships among the members are as close as family. I seriously do not think that Big Bang can break up any time soon. They’re a close knit family who loves to goof around tease each other. It’s better to have a delayed album that is 1000% satisfaction and recieves 1000 love from fans and non-fans alike than to have an album on time but has no satisfaction and does not recieve as much love as they would have liked. Everyone needs to be patient. 2NE1′s album release was delayed, I think, 2 times? But when it came out, it was an awesome album.

At this moment, I’m once again reminded how awesome BB is. They are a group who, when I first met them, pulled me away from 4minute and Super Junior with their charms. They are a group who tied down a girl who was crazy about every artist in America. Big Bang jjang!
While reading this rumor, I kept thinking about their relationship. How can somebody wrote something like this while we can see how close is BB in BBTV. While for disbanding, It is alright because we know how successful were each of them when they became solo. But I really hope they don’t disband because they become when they become one! I’m proud of them because its been nearly 5 years they still remain having good relationship and releasing songs that amaze us. For the reason about the late comeback, is because it is not easy to make your own song. It needs perfection and quality. I guess GD must been checking it like many times to make sure it is perfect.
It take some time. Maybe the person who wrote this miss them and started to make rumor. We as VIP just be patient.
